The 2009 first quarter figures for Benefits data are now available in the "Search for a Statistic Section" of LSR-Online. This data is available from District level down to Super Output Area level.
The Unemployment Bulletin provides a monthly update of the latest unemployment and benefit data for Leicester and Leicestershire. The data is sourced from Nomis (www.nomisweb.co.uk) which contains data from the Office for National Statistics, the Department of Work and Pensions and other official sources. Some figures have been calculated by Leicestershire County Council and where this is the case it is stated in the source.
The unemplyment figures for Oct 2009, covering all the districts and Leicester city down to Ward level, are also available in the statistics section of LSR-Online.
The DCLG has issued amendments to the headline results.
The LSR interative tools for the county and the districts that enable authorities' results to be compared have been updated. The amendments will mean that an authorities grading (A to E) may have changed.
TheA to E grades within the interactive tools are calculated for the authorities defined in each tool and not across all authorities in both tools. This will mean that authorites that appear in both tools e.g. Leicester Citymay have different grades.The grading methodology is defined in the tool metadata
District and Citydata for 'All Adult Drug Users in Effective Treatment' & 'Problematic Drug Users in Effective Treatment' is now available in the Health dataset category.
The bulletin for september is now available with JSA claimant data to Ward level and ethnicity breakdown at local district level. In addition, there is a snapshot of the local economic climate at locallevel.
The crime reduction dashboard and the anti-social behavoiur dashboard for septembe 2009 are now available i nthe Report section.
The report analyses a range of up to date information, research and reports to assess the local impact of the credit crunch in Leicester and Leicestershire within the context of the national economic downturn.

The Population Mid Year Estimates by Broad age groups for 2008 are now available within the statistics datasets. They are available at District, Ward and Super Output Area geographical levels.
These figures are experimental. To access the metadata for these figures click on the information button that is displayed next to the dataset.
The Leicestershire JSNA (2009) is now available as an interactive altas that presents a wealth of performance information with indicators that cover themes such as;
