Income Deprivation Affecting Children in Leicestershire

About This Report:

The Indices of Deprivation 2007 (ID2007) is the collective name given to seven indices and two supplementary indices which are used to measure deprivation across England. The ID2007 are some of the most widely used data sets by local authorities to understand their communities and prioritise resources. They are measured at LSOA level and therefore allow the monitoring of small area change in deprivation.

This report provides an analysis of the supplementary Income Deprivation Affecting Children (IDAC) domain of the Indices of Deprivation 2007 (ID2007) in Leicestershire. This domain measures the proportion of children aged 0 to 15 who live in an income deprived household. This report is useful for anyone involved in Children and Young People's services in Leicestershire.
