Description: This report aims to flag up geographical inequalities in Leicestershire and Rutland across a range of headline health indicators.

The indicators included, sourced from EMPHO's Small Area Health Database, are:

• Life expectancy at birth in males and females
• Premature deaths from all causes, circulatory disease, and cancers
• Low birthweight births
• Teenage conceptions
• Index of Multiple Deprivation 2004 (IMD 2004)
• Synthetic estimates of smoking prevalence and obesity in adults aged 16+.
