Description: The Research and Information Team at Leicestershire County Council have developed names for each of the 396 LSOAs in Leicestershire and the 23 LSOAs in Rutland. These provide more information regarding the approximate location of the LSOA within both counties that the names and codes provided by the Office of National Statistics.

A background to the process of developing LSOA names is provides along with a complete list and maps outlining the LSOAs in Leicestershire and Rutland and their respective names.
