Children

Children are generally described as humans between the stages of birth and puberty. The legal definition of a child generally refers to a minor, otherwise known as a person younger than the age of majority.

Being a child may also describe the relationship with a parent, such as sons and daughters of any age.

Young People

Young people are often described as youth. Youth is the time of life when a person is young, but often means the time between childhood and adulthood (maturity). Definitions of the specific age range that constitute youth and young people vary. An individuals actual maturity may not correspond to their chronological age, as immature individuals can exist at all ages.

Communities which are linked by children and/or young people
