A neighbourhood is a geographically localised community within a larger city, town, suburb or rural area. Face-to-face social interactions occur within neighbourhoods.
Communities
A community is a unit of any size that shares common values. Although communities are usually small, larger communities include national and international communities.
In human communities, intent, belief, resources, preferences, needs, risks and a number of other factors may be present and common, affecting the identity of the participants and their degree of cohesiveness within that 'community'.
Communities are not always linked by geographic areas.
