About This Report:
This report examines the change in IMD (Indices of Multiple Deprivation) ranking between 2004 and 2007 within LAA Priority Neighbourhoods. The document provides an outline to the process of identifying Priority Neighbourhoods and the role played by IMD in the initial work as well as an overview of the process of developing the IMD. The report continues by examining deprivation at both a district level, and across the individual Lower Super Output Areas which cover individual priority neighbourhoods.
The report forms part of a wider body or work on the IMD 2007, being prepared by the Research and Information team at Leicestershire County Council.
